Emily and Derrick, July 29,2022 - Becker Farm

Emily and Derrick's #wedding day was so #beautiful and full of #amazing moments. After starting the morning with Derrick and his groomsmen at an airbnb with an amazing back deck, I made my way to Emily and her bridesmaids at her parent's home. Since I photographed her brother and sister-in-law's wedding last year (see "Lauren and Ryan" post) I knew the exact spot in the home that I wanted to photograph the "getting ready" portraits. The front room of the home has big windows and beautiful natural light that was perfect for the backdrop. From there, Emily and Derrick decided on doing a first look at #BeckerFarm which ended up being the cutest thing ever. We managed to have perfect cloud coverage (just enough to create perfectly filtered and soft light) and the rest of the day was a breeze with this group.
